Position Summary
45Press INC is seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Junior UED/UI/UX Designer to assist with the design of intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging websites and digital products.
The Junior Designer will work with senior team members, developers, project managers, clients, and government stakeholders to transform requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, design systems, and polished user interfaces. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in user-centered design and is comfortable creating and collaborating in Figma.
This is an entry-level opportunity for a designer who is eager to develop their skills while contributing to commercial and government-related digital projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes in Figma.
- Translate business, technical, and user requirements into clear, functional design solutions.
- Assist with designing responsive websites, web applications, portals, dashboards, and mobile-friendly interfaces.
- Participate in discovery sessions, design reviews, client meetings, and project-planning discussions.
- Work with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and consistently.
- Create and maintain reusable Figma components, design libraries, and design systems.
- Prepare developer-ready design files, specifications, annotations, and digital assets.
- Review existing websites and applications for usability, consistency, accessibility, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with user research, stakeholder interviews, usability testing, and analysis of user feedback.
- Revise designs based on feedback from clients, project leaders, developers, and end users.
- Support accessibility requirements, including Section 508 and WCAG-based design practices.
- Maintain organized project files, design documentation, naming conventions, and version history.
- Present design concepts and clearly explain design decisions.
- Balance multiple assignments while meeting project deadlines.
- Assist with WordPress website design and content layout when needed.
- Perform other design and project-support responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to use Figma for interface design, components, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- Basic understanding of user experience design, user interface design, and user-centered design principles.
- Strong visual-design skills, including typography, spacing, color, layout, hierarchy, and consistency.
- Understanding of responsive web-design concepts for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree, certificate, bootcamp training, or equivalent experience in UX design, UI design, interaction design, graphic design, human-computer interaction, web design, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Figma Auto Layout, variables, component properties, prototyping, and shared libraries.
- Familiarity with Section 508, WCAG, accessible color contrast, keyboard navigation, and accessible interaction patterns.
- Experience designing websites or applications for government agencies or regulated organizations.
- Familiarity with WordPress and common page-building tools.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, or Acrobat.
- Experience working with developers, content strategists, project managers, or quality-assurance teams.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, Trello, or similar project-management processes.
- Basic experience conducting user interviews, usability tests, or design audits.

Work Environment
This position may be performed from the 45Press INC office in Canfield, Ohio, or remotely, depending on project requirements and the selected candidate’s location. Remote employees must have reliable internet access, a professional workspace, and the ability to participate in video meetings during established working hours.
Occasional travel or in-person attendance may be required for client meetings, project sessions, presentations, or company events.

Position Summary
45Press INC is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Government Bid & Proposal Coordinator. This position will work directly with the CEO to identify government contracting opportunities and prepare accurate, professional, and timely bid submissions.
The ideal candidate is comfortable researching information, managing multiple deadlines, organizing detailed documentation, and working independently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in government contracting, proposal development, business development, technology, and web services.
The position may be based at our Canfield, Ohio office or performed remotely. The selected candidate must be available for occasional business travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Search federal, state, and local government procurement portals for relevant bid opportunities, requests for proposals, requests for quotations, and related solicitations.
- Review bid requirements and summarize important details, including scope of work, deadlines, required forms, qualifications, and submission instructions.
- Work directly with the CEO to determine which opportunities are a good fit for the company.
- Create and maintain bid calendars, deadline reminders, checklists, and organized electronic files.
- Gather company information, certifications, references, project examples, pricing information, and other documents required for submissions.
- Assist with writing, formatting, proofreading, and assembling proposals and bid responses.
- Prepare professional PDF submission packages using Adobe Acrobat.
- Verify that proposals meet formatting, documentation, signature, and submission requirements.
- Submit bids through online procurement systems, email, or other approved methods.
- Monitor submitted bids and maintain accurate records of bid status, follow-up dates, awards, and results.
- Communicate professionally with government procurement representatives and potential business partners.
- Assist with presentations, meetings, conference materials, and other business-development activities.
- Coordinate travel details and prepare materials for meetings in New York City, Washington, D.C., Florida, and other locations.
